From steering school buses to chauffeuring charter coaches, to wrenching under the hood, you name it, Dan's done it – he's the ultimate road warrior! When he's not behind the wheel, Dan's rolling up his sleeves, scrubbing buses with the gusto of a superhero saving the day. Oh, and did we mention he's also our in-house chef, whipping up scrumptious meals for the team like a culinary maestro? And when the Arizona sun calls, Dan swaps his bus keys for golf clubs, hitting the fairways with the same passion he brings to our business. With Dan at the helm, every journey with Duenwald Transportation is an adventure in itself!

Office Manager
Meet Melody Bokinskie (Dan's Daughter), our Office Manager extraordinaire and the heart and soul of our team – affectionately known as the 'HR Lady'! With a knack for keeping the wheels of our operation turning smoothly, Melody's the maestro behind the scenes, juggling tasks with finesse and flair. From balancing the books to chasing down invoices (and maybe a few stray pens), she's our go-to guru for all things administrative.

Chris is our jack-of-all-trades and the ultimate multitasker extraordinaire! Not only does he wield the magic wand of booking private charter trips with finesse, but he's also the undisputed champion of bus cleanliness – turning every vehicle into a sparkling haven on wheels! And hey, that's not all – catch him cruising the streets as the captain of one of our Clark School bus routes, where he ensures that every student's journey is as safe as it is enjoyable.

When he's not busy fine-tuning our fleet and keeping our wheels turning smoothly, he's out there saving the day for multiple schools, making sure their buses are as ready to roll as ours.
Jocee Nelson
Booking Associate - Route Driver
Jocee is a key part of the Duenwald Transportation team, now working in the office where she executes the detailed planning and coordination of DT Tours. Her journey with DT began early—back in high school—when she first took dan’s auto class and interned with Melody. Having grown up around the company, Jocee understands Duenwald Transportation from the ground up. That hands-on experience, paired with her dedication and deep knowledge of operations, has made her a natural leader. In addition to tour planning, Jocee has taken on important roles in ELD training and school bus in-services, helping support drivers and maintain the high standards DT is known for.

Julie began her journey with Duenwald Transportation as an ordinary route driver, where her reliability and strong work ethic quickly stood out. She soon became a vital part of our charter bus operations, trusted to deliver safe, smooth, and professional service for groups of all sizes. Today, Julie brings that same dedication to the wash bay, where her keen eye for detail ensures every bus is clean, polished, and ready to represent DT at its best. Ann is our ultimate road warrior turned superhero Paraprofessional at Clark Jr/Sr High School! With over 15 years of rocking the school bus like a boss, Ann's got the skills and the sass to make every journey a joyride. When she's not wrangling students or cracking jokes with her fellow staff, this dynamo mom of four (three boys and a girl!) and proud grandma of six can be found spreading smiles faster than she hits those bus stops.

Since hanging up his teaching hat and retiring, Greg's been our go-to guy on days when the bus is buzzing with excitement and activities galore.

And hey, before he traded dugouts for driving, Scott was a master of heavy machinery, clearing out those dugouts like a boss.
David Voeltz

David Voeltz has been a dedicated bus driver for over 37 years, driving more than 750,000 miles! Well known in Pierre, South Dakota, as "The Bus Driver," David was inducted into the T.F. Riggs High School Hall of Fame in 2024 for his dedication to driving athletes near and far. When not driving, David enjoys life with his wife, Mary, and two adult sons, Michael and Thomas. In his free time, David loves seeing the sights on the path of his motorcycle and even doing dog rescues. He and seven others even founded NBRAN.org, now the premiere of Brittany Rescue!
Scott VanDenHemel

Scott came to help us as a fill-in driver once we had taken over the activity driving for T.F. Riggs High School in Pierre! He can be found enjoying his time with his wife, Kim, his four children, and his three grandchildren. When he's not spending time with family, you can find him running, reading, woodworking, and working jigsaw puzzles! A fun fact about Scott is that he has completed four marathons and four half marathons! We are so glad Scott is a part of our team!

Meet Larry! Larry joined our team when Duenwald Transportation took over activities for T.F. Riggs High School in Pierre, South Dakota as a driver! Most of his time is spent enjoying life with his wife, Ana, and his three children. As Larry stated, "Being a parent and a child's biggest fan is my favorite part of adulthood!". When Larry isn't spending time cheering on his pride and joy, you can find him playing pool or doing a little woodwork. Duenwald Transportation is very thankful for Larrys help and dedication!
